A QB member sent me this quilt for Long arm quilting. She let me have creative freedom to do as I wished. She had great piecing...which is such a treat!
The thing I love about making my own scrap quilts is that as I am peicing or quilting along I think of all the lovely things I made with the fabric before it was considered a scrap....this quilt had so many fabrics that I own in my own stash or that I have used..so it was as if I was visiting memory lane and it wasn't even my quilt.
I love the way it turned out of course...I seem to fall in love with any quilt that comes my way....
I quilted this freehand in my INNOVA long arm. No computers or Pantographs.
I put a flower with trailing ribbons in each center and then a squiggly line to follow all of the strings in the blocks...I love the back almost as much as the front.
Thank you for looking!
