I swear I just went to buy a light bulb for my sewing machine that cost about $3 and I didn't get out of the store before spending $200. How did that happen?
Well they just keep screaming at me to take them home and I just couldn't bear to leave them behind, so now they will have a great time visiting with the rest of my stash. But not to long because I plan on using them for some of the quilts I'm making for my sons unit in Afghanistan.

That is why I took my Bernina to our little Bernina place today to get the light bulb changed. She has some fabric and other things as well, but her prices are kinda high, and I am saving for our Christmas trip. I got out of there with my new light bulb installed for under two bucks. LOL, But I sure did not come home with a lovely selection of fabric like you did. Hubby was with me too, so I guess that had something to do with it.

lol...i did the same thing. i went to get a button to put on my bow tucks bag today and spent $120. got about a dozen buttons, enough extra wide backing for a couple quilts and a whole bunch of tartan fabric. i swear it wasn't my fault though. i've been eyeing that fabric to make my dads quilt but it was way too pricey. went in today and saw all of it in a bin 75% off. i had to.
