HowlThank Table Runner - Quick and Easy

Well, it didn't turn out exactly like I wanted (as if that is something new to any of us....), but I like it. Since it had to be backed, figured I'd just make it reversible.
I will NOT use dual colors for the edging again, though. It was a pain. Others to do - grouped on being able to do the same color edging:
Christmas/Confederate Heros Day (if I can find the fabric),
Valentines/Easter
Texas Independence Day/4th of July
Birthday/Bluebonnets (for everyday - am doing kitchen in BBs). Probably none will begin until after Jan. 1 except maybe the Christmas one.

Just made 18 stips 3" wide (about 18" long) and sewed together. Then squared it up. Then folded and cut the angles. Saw it on a TV show.
Then added the edging - hint - use the same color edging. Was really a pain putting it on.
Didn't take but about 20 minutes to piece all of the strips. I did not put any padding in between, since it was thick enough with just the two sets of strips. I think I will put some interfacing in the next one, though.
