Thanks to my sister dsb38327 and my friend mimisharon I made these cool Hugs and Kisses! It was my first try and they may not be perfect but they work great! I got the fabric from Hobby Lobby and was able to use my coupon:) I love it when I get good deals:) These keep you so cold:) I had so much fun making these:) This is the link I used from mimisharon..

The Kisses are good to use in Hat's and Cap's too.

Great job! I wish I had those last week while camping with my dh, brother and sil, her mom, plus other friends. It was a great time, but I sweated terribly. I made a bunch of the necktie coolies for soilder's years ago and never made myself any. It's back on my to do list again.

I watched my LQS make these last Thursday. Cool!! I also read the story of the 80 year old veteran making them for the troops on the action fronts...he has made like over 7000 of them for the active miltary troops.
They are my long list "too do". Nice job JABear.

The crystals are easy enough to order or you can buy small packages from Lowes. They are the water absorbing crystals that you use in plants so you don't have to water them daily.
Our troops are in twice the heat we are. Think about that. They are not able to get into air conditioned buildings to get away from the heat, so this is a little way for me to be able to help them.
GOOD JOB, Jabear!!!
