I love days off when I can sew! My BIG and LITTLE Bags!
I spent the holiday in my sewing room today... hooray!
Made the BIG tote bag that someone here posted about; it's a free pattern from Pellon, made from jelly roll strips:

I used some Curious George fabric (leftover from making nurse's scrubs for my sister-in-law) and a coordinating stripe that came from who-knows-where! This bag is absolutely HUGE!
Then I made two little thread catcher bags from this pattern:

I will keep one of them, and donate one for my sewing group's door prize in September.
All in all, a great and productive day!!

Can't think of anything better to do on a day off! I have been sewing also, working on bunting for my granddaughter's 6th B-day party next weekend. Having so much fun! Love your bag and thread catchers!!
