Judy sent me this quilt. Can I tell you what a pleasure she is to work with?
She is the nicest lady!
Beautiful piecing, beautiful quilt!
I had to feather that outer border to frame it all in and brig to together. The green lattice had me stumped for a bit as to what to do...so I just went in on one of the colors of green and outlined the one color so it would give dimension..then I outlined the flowers in the center of each block and filled the side setting floral ares with leaves. Beautiful finish!
The back is a flannel polka dot...this quilt is so soft and cuddly! The quilting fits the theme but is also light enough to keep the soft cuddle feeling. all around nice quilt.
I used Hobbs poly down batting. I quilted this freehand on my INNOVA (26).
Thanks for looking.

Amazing isn't it? It's hard to tell in the photos..but it's actually two different shades of green in the lattice that intertwine and over lap.
