I'm so glad that you got it back- what a shame to have put all that work into it only to have it lost. I'm not sure I would've ever let it out of my sight!

I would keep one like that under lock and key. It must have nearly stopped your heart when it went missing and thankfully it hadn't been thrown out. That is just gorgeous work and so glad you shared with us.

I'm in shock all over again looking at the close-ups. The border alone would take years. And all those tiny half square triangles.. . Well . . . there are no words. And it's not just because of the AMOUNT of work, but also because of the beauty of the colors, the design, the workmanship. I was serious when I said, "museum or national quilt show."

So glad you were able to get your quilt back. I can only imagine the anguish you must have felt when it was lost! You did beautiful work. I have the book and that is probably as far as I will get on it! Thanks for showing your work of art!
