Log Cabin Baby quilt
#1
Here is a baby quilt I made for a friend. It is my first log cabin. My goal with my baby quilts I make for friends is to use up scraps I have lying around. Anyway, I like the way this one turned out. I need suggestions, though. How do you quilt a log cabin? And what is your opinion on how I should quilt this one? Any input is appreciated.

Great Job!
I keep wanting to try a log cabin and this appears to be a great way to start! May try this out myself. I agree with desertdebbe - meander or ditch stitch. Thanks for the idea.

Great quilt. I've always quilted in the ditch and it's easy to do by hand, if you've press the seams one way.By machine I doubt it makes as much a difference. I like to stress the design and meandering doesn't as much. Either way, it's looking really nice. I never have enough scraps of one material to carry through out a whole quilt.
