My brother's quilt
This is a picture of the quilt I just sent off last week for my brother's birthday. It's kind of a family joke that we all like chairs, so I made him a quilt with chairs in the center of the log cabin blocks. It was kind of hard to find enough fabrics with chairs, especially with white backgrounds. It was done in a quilt as you go method, but it didn't have the backing quilted in with the blocks. After it was sewn together, I sandwiched the top and the backing and then just had to stitch between the blocks and around the centers to hold it together. I used a tute from the blogger at Sew Take a Hike.

He really loved it, as I thought he would.
