My Daughters College Quilt
#1
My daughter is starting college this year.... I am making her a college quilt. She loves dogs....So she picked 4 blocks from the book "Best in Show" by Carol Armstrong. Three of the dogs represent out own dogs (Lab, Jack Russell, and our Honey our German Sheperd Mix) . The block in the upper right hand corner I did on my own. She has very unusual ears! The blocks are all done and I have set them into my EQ6. I need some help on the inner boarder…. Not sure what color to use.. Dark brown, lighter green, green/brown mix, dark blue… Help! Any suggestions would be appreciated!!

That is going to be one amazing quilt!!!! (love your dog, btw)... my 2 cents is that I'm not a fan of the green border, but I'd have a hard time deciding between the others. They all look good to me!!! PLEASE post it when you get it done, I can't wait to see it!

I like the blue or the dark brown. Seems to make the blocks pop more. Speaking of popping - I almost popped out of the chair when the picture of Honey came up! She's a really cutie - just expecting another quilt picture!
