My Grand daughters Alphabet Quilt
#1
This is my first attempt at quilting a quilt on my machine by myself. I made my Grand daughter an alphabet quilt. I bought the designs from embroidery library and stitched them out. I then designed the quilt and put t together...and then quilted it. I know I have a lot to learn :!: but love quilting so the learning is fun and keeps me young.
I put her name across the top and since there are 26 letters in the alphabet I did the rows 4,6, 4, 6, 4, 6. On the top row I put her name - the first block says the quilt was made for and then her name with the last block stating who made the quilt and who gave her the quilt.
On the other 4 block rows I put siamese cats - I changed the coloring on each cat to represent the 4 different siamese cats that live at my house.
I hope you like it!
God bless,
Althea

I think I need to correct something - this wasn't my first quilt just the first quilt that I have machine quilted myself. I don't want to misrepresent anything. I have been quilting for about 7 years now...started late but had to wait till I retired from the USAF.
God bless,
