This is an applique quilt idea I took from seeing an old Vogue pattern. I've used my embroidery machine to print the baby's name on the overalls, his weight of birth on the overall shorts and his dob on the shirt. I FMQed the cloud after filling it with batting to add texture and dimension. This is just the quilt top. I still need to add the borders before I start the finishing stages.

The overalls and t-shirt with embroidery.

    The overall shorts.

    The full enchilada.

Thanks! I'm having a lot of fun with it. The top only took a day and a half to complete, including the time to cut it out. I did have to wash it out a few times to get the stabilizer out so I'll have to trim the edges but I made the top a little larger for that.
