I don't know. I zigzagged the ones that I made for them. I think that it makes them a bit messy looking too unless you make them perfect all the way around. But thats impossible for me. But we have to do what they ask.
I did the funky monkey one like the one on the right. In the same colors. That was my very first one I did for them. :)

I think that they want to make sure that single stitches don't come out cause the kids pick at the bindings. I would think any well stitched binding, other than single stitch would be OK. I've actually used double needles on some of my bindings.

It seems to look pretty good on the front but went off the edge on the back. Is there a way to stay on the line on both sides? I would like to do more but I would like them to look nice and not be stressed about it!!!!!! :roll:
