Don't you just love house blocks? So do I. This was a construct-it-as-you-go method. Sometimes it's nice to have no pattern. Rough cut first; then measure. What? What have I gotten myself N2 now? Knew I wanted 2-1/2" HST's for the roof so started there w/some premade ones. Once they came together, the size of my house was established. No doors, no fussy construction - just a simple big window with the lights on. Don't you just love that part? At night, it just lights up. Didn't want it matchy-matchy but enough variable to make them different. The border really added alot (leftover HST's). The size is 7 x 9; 13 x 14 w/borders; houses 3.5 inches.

What did this mini teach me? I need to have a pattern first. lol. Hope you like my little mini.

Thank you, gladie! I couldn't believe it! I went and checked out the pic of my mini. I only see one fabric you could possibly have and that's the yellow water droplet one, the only one from Wal-Mart. All the blues came from JoAnn's. Which blue one is it? I just can hardly believe you have ANY of these blue fabrics! That's so cool.
