I have known the family of Paul, for 35 years. Paul recently died. So, instead of sending a sympathy card, I made both his wife, and his grown daughter, a small wallhanging, in my Stained Glass Portrait style. I used only a fat quarter on each (instead of my usual one yard).

The photo was one that his daughter changed her avatar to on FaceBook, so I know she loves this pic which was just taken at Christmas.

    Paul

What a wonderful way to pay your respects and send your condolences. I know that they will treasure it always. Beautiful work!
