My Two Halloween Quilts
#1
I wanted to share pictures of my two Halloween quilts (I think I shared one before, but I took a better picture of it).
This is the first one:
It was made by members of a Flickr swap I am a part of. I collected fabrics for 2 years and then decided to have them make blocks for me, they did an AWESOME job!
This is a raw edge applique I did:
It is a pattern from Eat Cake Graphics. Someone posted a cat one they did by them, and when I saw this one I had to have it! I actually just posted a raw edge tutorial over at Stash Manicure (here) for how I put this top together.
I also posted pics of all my other Halloween decorations (non-quilty) on my blog if you care to take a peek! :) :) (Link is in siggy)
I love Halloween, but these were the first two quilts I have made for the holiday. I think it's because I always felt any quilt I made for the holiday had to be perfect. These may not be 'perfect' persay, but they are perfectly loved!! :)
Thanks for looking!
Rachel
