We recently took a trip to Phoenix and stayed in a lovely home that was adorned with quilts. Our hostess said that all had been made by relatives many generations ago. She does not sew, but displays them lovingly as a lasting bond with her family.
I was in heaven!!! Not only could I sit and look for as long as I wanted....she encouraged me to TOUCH - fondle, caress, cover myself in all that lovely quilted glory! (Goosebumps - Does it get any better??!!)
The piecing and hand stitching was amazing - and there were many patterns that I could not identify. I would love to reproduce one....but for me, would be easier if I had a pattern to follow.
Anyone recognize this pattern?

Sorry, I can not tell you the name either, but Starburst fits it perfectly!
One person that may be able to give you a hint on what it is may be Eleanor Burns. Go to her site and e-mail a pic to customer service. Here is the link: http://www.quiltinaday.com/customerservice/
