Need some ideas with this fabric
#1
My daughter has fallen in love with this fabric she does not want me to cut it up but to make a "chunky" quilt??? I am not wanting to do squares. I thought maybe a floating fabric with black under the bottom of a block to give the illusion of floating (I have no idea what the patter might be) This is all Michael Miller fabric in the same line. I also thought that maybe the boston commons pattern by Eleanor Burns would work. I thought using the large poppie as a center block and the rest around it. I just need some direction here so I don't make another mistake like the snow white quilt I posted earlier :)

How about the 10 min block. You could use the 10 inch squares since you have large prints.
here is the link incase you need it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZbTHlGGKMPM

Nice fabric, I will be interested to see what you go with. I just picked up 10 1/2 yards of April Cornell's Natures Bounty and I'm not sure what to do with it. I had never seen the 10 min block before and found it very interesting.
