Overflowing narrow strips? Make a Lego quilt

Thanks everyone. The nice thing about this is you don't have to think much! If I recall the blog post tells you to cut your pieces smaller. This lazy gal just sewed whatever length I had and cut it to 10 1/2". After I had quite a few made I started using 10 strips to make blocks...soon I had 30 blocks done.
I figure about 90% of this quilt is from donated odds and ends.
Tessagin, you are right on...it makes a great practice piece.
ube, it'll start to make a dent.
And yes there is no reason why larger widths can't be used...I plan on doing that myself...
