Default Picnic in the Park, by Larene Smith

This pattern was found in magazine Simple Quilts & Sewing #128…ripped out of the magazine about 5 years ago. It’s a great pattern for large print you may want to showcase. I used leftover backing to make this and whipped this out in one evening. The blocks are Y-Seam construction but super easy to do. Finishes at 48”sq…This will be gifted to a 4 year old who loves flowers… I have cut a second quilt in this pattern using Crayola Crayon fabric line. I think this will be my new “go to” baby quilt pattern.

Wow! Not the usual type of blocks (squares, stripes etc.) and it looks to be an interesting pattern to make. Would love to give it a try if I could find the magazine online. I'll do a google search for it this morning! Thanks for posting.

What a fun design! Love that floral, love everything about it.
Can you show us the Tree of Life quilt to the right of your husband? It looks gorgeous.

Thanks, Susie!! I shared the Tree Farm quilt awhile ago but here it is again. This is a Laundry Basket Quilt pattern, as well.

You are one artful quilter teen. Love the way it turned out and I can't wait to see the crayon one too.
