I said I would post the quilt I made for my German niece. Her mother was a foreign exhange sister at my parents home in the '80's and now her daughter came and went to the same school as her mom. We have stayed close thru the years. My daughter and I made the front blocks and I finished the quilt and my sister did the quilting.

I combined flannel and regular fabric. Didn't know what colors to use but my young DIL told me popular colors. the floral found in the stash that I had sent my daugh a year or 2 ago. Good thing for stashes. I didn't have to buy andy material had everything on hand.

I love it. That quilt really pops. I really like the purple and yellow together. I'm sure that she will love it.
