    Default Quilt top finished

This is my own pattern and I got the top down. this is my work in progress on my new Janome machine. This could be for male or female. size is 81x81. I was not sure about the navy border on outside but is is good I think. Thanks for looking.

That’s lovely. How do you plan to quilt it?

Great quilt top Suz and I think the blue border is a nice compliment to the quilt. Were these from a jelly roll or did you cut all of those strips? Nicely done and I can’t wait to see it quilted.

Lovely top. Hope your new machine is behaving well: if the top is an indicator, it must be! Thanks for sharing.

Sewbizgirl, I have not decided how to quit yet. I am not that good at it. Jmoore, I cut the strips myself and it was all from my stash except the light blue that I got from Missouri Star. It seems you don't have something you need when you use your stash. I used a companion angle ruler I had instead of the strip tube ruler I did not have. I tested on scraps first to get the correct cut. The blocks ended up 11 inches unfinished. I have too many rulers to just keep purchasing more.
