Quilting by candlelight

Glad you are safe. I don't have to worry about hurricanes where I live, but the ice storm of 2000 had us without power for 11 days. We are all electric so we moved to the deer camp where there is a wood stove for heat and I could cook on top of it. We ran a generator for 2 hours every evening so we could pump water for us and all the neighbors.
Hope things get back to normal soon for you.

Someone once told me that if you had a kerosene lamp and a treddle sewing machine that that's all you needed when things like this happen. Plus it must have kept you warm while quilting and I love the "white quilt" by your side.
Blessings.
