scrappy lap quilt
#52
Surprisingly I did not! I was expecting I would, however; it was not really any harder to work with than cotton. I made sure I basted really well. I used spray adhesive and pinned, (probably overboard). I didn't quilt in the ditch, I quilted about a 1/4 inch on the side and as I got to the end I held the fabric to be sure it didn't shift. I'm trying to use up fabrics given to me that I would not traditionally use so I thought, "its a scrap quilt I can afford to try this material." It does make a warm quilt too, especially since I also used batting.

This is a very nice scrappy quilt and I hope you don't mind if I keep the picture as an example for one of my next scrappies. I noticed you have used the same material for that middle square, I think it gives it some sort of a "form", will keep it in mind. Thanks for sharing!!!
