Beautiful,I love your quiit and shams, plus the quilting. What pattern did you use for the shams, was it the wall size star ? I just finished 2 this week, one in multi color and the other in 2 shades of blue, still have to quilt them. I love your quiit and shams, plus the quilting.

All I did was enlarge my HST's (pattern called for 6 1/2" squares but I did mine 9 1/2 inches). When I finished the main part of the top, I measured how much more length & width that I needed & added additional borders to fit. It is just slightly larger than a queen size quilt. I have to admit that when I decided to take the top all apart I thought I was a bit looney but not that the set is finished, I am so happy that I made my decision. If I hadn`t taken it apart I am sure it would have ended up as an eternal UFO or in the scrap heap. Because I changed colours I then had to recut all the squares that did not have the light blue in them to match the new ones. Lots of work but so worth the effort. Never give up on a project if you are sure of what it is you want. It can be done. All it took was more time & a bit more fabric (which I already had in my stash). I appreciate your positive comments.
