Shadow's Block
#1
Well Shadow...I did like you said, I kicked it, I threw it, I shredded a few of them with my rotary cutter, and I redid it 7 times. I've officially run out of black fabric now, so kiddo, this is the best of the lot. Maybe you can work your magic with it LOL.
It's sad; I'll do a different one for you when I get to town for more black :)

Well, thanks...the camera is definitely kinder than reality LOL. To start, it's about 1/4 smaller all around than should be, there are other problems too, but that's ok :) I shall not be defeated by this booger, LOL. I'll just do another one (or 4) this weekend. Then Shadow can see how much progress I made with all this practice  .

I love that site, also. Each time I look at the blocks, I find one I hadn't noticed before. I really like the pattern you chose for Shadow. I'm sorry it didn't cooperate better for you, but your block does look nice. You must be in Group 3. I'm in Groups 1 and 2. I sent Shadow's blocks last week, but she probably hasn't received them yet. I didn't post a picture because my daughter's camera needed a new battery and I didn't want to wait to mail them. I hope she likes them.

Hey Strawberry!
That is a nice block you made for Shadow. The pattern looked difficult and you made a good attempt at making it. As time goes on you will get better I still make mistakes and have been quilting way longer than you. It is a gift to a friend that is coming from your heart and that is all that counts.
Good Job!!!!!
Happy Quilting
