A friend of mine found these 2 1/2" squares at a thrift store, she gave them to me, so I just stared sewing them in two, then into fours. I don't know what pattern to use to put into maybe a lap quilt, do any of you have suggestions or ideas on what to do with these little squares? Thanks

since you already have some sewn together, a trip around the world probably won't work. but several recently posted quilts take blocks of the scraps and sash them with white or another color. they look great.

Another larger block is to make a 9P block with 5 of the 4P and 4 4 1/2" cut squares. This will make a finished 12" block. Put sashings around the blocks and in no time you will have a small lap quilt.
