Name of Pattern
at least that's what I think of when I look at it. This is Connecting Threads batiks on the front and their Iris mirage for the back, I used 2 layers of Hobbs Heirloom cotton because I wanted it to be thick and heavy like my grandma's quilts were, I don't know why because it's not even for me! I'm not real good at free motion yet so I LOVE this panto!

the original pattern is called Lanterns in the Garden by Lerlene Neveril in her book Midnight Quilts (because she did them all with black backgrounds). It's a pretty easy one to make.
