Spiderweb top finish

Spiderweb top finish
I finally got around to finishing this top that has been on the design wall for forever.
here is the first post in Rhonda's wall hanging swap. (show and tell what other stuff I was working on.)
Hi everyone. Looking forward to seeing the quilts from everyone. This was a quiet swap this time around. I'm sure there is lots of things that happening that takes our time away from quilting.
Getting older has been my biggest challenge. When I get home from work I would run right to my sewing room and spend some time there before the end of the day. I still have the enthusiasm but not the energy so my quilting is slower and not as frequent. I so wish I could retire.
I have had to start planning my time better so I can get to what I want to do with my old bones. Age has allowed me to appreciate even more my love of quilting and the time I have to spend in my studio.
I am now planning my next wall hanging while working on getting my scrap stash in order. This is how I am organizing my scraps:
Hasn't even put a dent in the scraps! I'm going to have to make it bigger. Five x five rows was my plan but now it will be six x six.
I am calling this one Ms I. Spyders' Collection. There are lots of novelty fabrics to hunt for.
What has everyone else been up to over the summer? I am waiting for my swap name now and weaving my web.
peace to all

Beautiful, I love the spider web design and your fabrics are just lovely. I know what you mean about getting tired after work. I am only doing 3 days but a couple of hundred kms per week and some. Trouble is I reckon I'm going to 'die in harness' Quilting and gardening are the only things keeping me going some weeks.

Wonderful quilt! I love all the interesting fabrics--I love doing these because you can use everything and it always works in the end. I also really like the squares in the stars--I'll have to try that!
