Two finishes today for Bryce and Madelyn
Two finishes today! One sweet girly quilt for my sweet baby grandaughter (almost 2) and one glow-in-the-dark monster quilt for a great little grandson (turned 7 on 12/4).
It's funny, I bought the monster fabric yesterday. When I went to bed I went into the kitchen to get my book without turning any lights on. I reached out to pick it up and their was something shining on the counter - kind of like your phone but it was dim. I reached over to pick it up and it was this fabric.
This one is Bonnie & Camille's Hello Darling fabric made with a strip tube ruler. All from the new quilt shop in San Antonio, Mesquite Bean Fabrics.

I love the strawberries!!

This one is made with Monster Mischief. The panel really gave me a headstart so I was able to finish it in a day.

A closeup of the cute monsters.

I Love both quilts.
I certainly love girly girl stuff now, but that monster quilt! When I was a kid, it would have become MINE, because, well, I was a through and through tomboy, and would have beaten my year older and year younger brothers up to keep it!
PS: I never quite grew out of being a tomboy, but my brothers are taller and bigger than me now. It;s a good thing we don't live in the same house anymore!
