two quilted panels and printing on fabric

My hand quilted panels . And what not to do when fabric printing . I was fairly new to computers and didn't know you had to use treated fabric . It looks good , but keep it away from moisture or poof goes your picture !

yep, learned that the hard way, too. mom and i were working on a block for one of her friends with a quote that we had printed. we had it 3/4 of the way put together and my iron spit on the printing. left big ink spots. so we took it apart and started over!

Thank you Fabricluvr. I'm glad I'm not the only one that used untreated fabric . Iguess I thought the ink would be permanent like it is on your fingers at times . That picture is near and dear to me . That is my son , his fiance and newborn son . The baby was premature . He had a breathing problem , I wasn't sure he was going to make it . But he came through fine . He will be 4 yrs old in March .
The steam from iron is how I found it ink wasn't permanent , too ! What a dummy ! :lol:
