I wish I could go there! The "danger" would be worth the adventure! What kind of a death would that be? Buried under fabric! Okay by me! Almost as good as falling into a beer or wine vat! Thanks for the diversion from seriousness.

Wow makes our Phoenix SAS stores look chic (but their not). Since I am most definetly not a size 10 I don't think I'd bother. It looks dirty and disorganized which I could handle if the prices we're dirt cheap. No pun intended.

I remember back in the 1960's, Levines was the only fabric place in the area. Being just out of college, I did not anticipate the owner taking me to the basement for reasons other than to find the fabric I was asking about.

Those pics do nothing but make me shutter at the bugs and creepy crawlies that may be lurking in between, underneath and on the top of those bolts, not to mention the claustrophobia and the fire trap. I'd take one step in and then turn and run out. Not my kinda fabric store!!

I laughed when I saw that picture...it's MaryJo's in Gastonia, NC, on steroids! We used to have one here in SC that sorta looked like that...don't know how she ever found anything. So I guess the takeaway from this is that our stashes really aren't so bad??? Thanks for the hoot!
