    Default Westalee rulers quilt top

Just finished quilt top using the Janet Collins Ruler Quilt Design Book with the Westalee Design Sampler Template Set 1. There are some adjustments to the block designs which Janet encourages in her beginning instructions. When laying out the blocks originally I made some measurement mistakes but didn't matter in the end. We did this in a Ruler of the Month class at my LQS, started working with the individual rulers monthly and then started our tops. I learned so much working on this top. I used a pale variegated thread so I could see my stitching but not have it overpower the design of the individual template, it doesn't show up very well in the pictures. I still need a lot of practice and am getting ready to start a new top but having so much fun.

Very nice ruler work. The more you do the more confidence you get.

Looks great. If you put it in an editting programme like Ribbet and turn up the contrast you can see it better just to check it out. It looks great.
