I'm sorry I wasn't clear. The advertisement is below Home, Resources, Blogs, etc. The advertisement doesn't block the QB Messaging. It's just annoying and a bit offensive. Kijiji is there too. It used to be quilting related advertising so I thought maybe I let this stuff in somehow.

Usually my antivirus will block the ads, but they are beginning to show up stating I have a request from someone 2.3 miles from my home with a pic of young blond woman,
what the heck??????????????????????

I get multiple ads at the top of the QB page & have learned to be very carefull when moving the curser to click on a QB tab to not move it over the ads. Occassionally, I get a startling, talking ad when the curser accidentally goes over an ad.

Looks like whoever owns the site signed up with an ad agency of some kind. The site owner just takes what the agency serves up.
I don't mind the site owner using this method, but someone should have a method of vetting the ads first. For instance, this is a quilting/craft site - most members are women. We buy cars, might need a lawyer, plumber, etc.
We don't need or want dating sites that verge on porn.
Those that develop apps for cell phones do this, too. They just take what the ad service dishes out. There's pretty much the same complaint. Only thing I can think of - sleazier ad services pay more to get questionable ads on devices.

Chat Request
Are we that desperate that we have to have pop up Stephanie every day looking for a "chat request". A sexy looking Stephanie no less. This is appearing in my ad section on this board. Want to Meet Me? Confirm or Ignore. Please take her off. I really don't need to talk to Stephanie. Thanks.
