Thanks Everyone!!!
I have been really pleased with how this quilt came together. And a lot of that THANKS TO YOU Ladies!
The spin on the traditional Friendship Star and Trip Around The World, combined with our quilting together for what is it, 4 yrs? will make quite a story for the next Fair. Better get writing!

More thanks to one and all for your many kind words!
You are all part of the story ... and what makes this quilt so special to me!
awwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!
Exactly what I was thinking as I progressed making my FFC.
Just might have to borrow this line, as I write "the" story!
All ... No, I have not started writing it, though it is brewing in the back of my brain. Any other contributions to the story writing, are most welcome! After all, you are all, part of the story, so you should help with the literary contributions!!

Congratulations QE, and since you can't win them all--well maybe that red ribbon will be pinned to the FCC at the next show! Still looking for my FCC plan--it'll turn up soon. Meanwhile the fabrics I'm using are in a safe place
Any one following MaryK's red rocks? Looks great!

Awwww Thanks, you two!
Wrote my FFC story today, for the class at the Fair this coming weekend.
DHMom ... YOu've got blue on your brain lately. Is it finished yet?
OKSGlad ... I had no problem with the 2nd, when you saw how much embellishment, applique, etc. was on the other quilt, it truly was way ahead of mine! Maybe you need to start doing farm field pics, a la MaryK technique? As for your FFC ... I'm patient!
Yup ... I've been watching those Red Rocks develop!!! I am so intrigued with how they (and her other pieces) start out so flat and nothing, and with each layer depth and beauty is built into it. Amazing!
MaryK ... can't wait for you to start The Badlands! You were right back in my home turf when you headed that way. BTW on a clear day, you can see the CN Tower from that spot.
