Granny59 ... how clever you are! Looks like you have everything you might need when "on the go"!! Such a cute little ♥ for your scissors! Honestly, I did not start out thinking of sending all of you the Friendship Squares ... it just kind of happened!!
MiraB ... thank you! Now get yourself into your cave ... looks like a perfect way to enjoy your Mother's Day!
Muv ... You know I love that tea cosy!! Maybe you need some coordinating accessories to go with it, such as some tea mug rugs? Or a small mat to set under a tray of sweets>
All ... be sure to check out Muv's blog, not just for the tea cosy, but lots of other great things!
DublB ... of course, you do have from the 11th to the 21st!! ............. kidding! Or plan a project to take with you, and work at while on the road?

OK ... I've got a few projects planned. I have a scrappy sampler in the making and I plan on using some of the FQ to make a block for that. The other project is finally finished though. Will post pic's of the block ... need to pick the block I want to make first
I made a little sewing box. I have one that was made by Singer back in the 60's and I reverse engineered it. I had made one earlier (a prototype) and I sent that to a QB friend in England because I know she loves needle cases. This one ... sadly ... did not turn out as good as the prototype - but here it is warts and all.
First pic is the closed box, second pic is the open box and all the goodies. The seam ripper and other "stuff" sits inside the little box inside the box.

Love the projects being posted! All so different. Special fondness for the tea cozy, and would love to have a cup right now after a day of struggling with one of my newly acquired vintage machines.
Oh of course I would be remiss if I didn't say a big thanks to QuiltE for doing this!!

CarrieM and DHMom ... you're welcome! This is turning out even better than I ever though it might, with all the "younique" projects that are showing up.
DHMom ... BTW ... I just made a cuppa, "Read My Lips" ... want some?
I don't see any warts, AT ALL!!! It's wonderful, though it does look like a very tedious project with all the bits and pieces you had to cover and finangle around! I didn't remember the little inside box inside your UK Lucky Charms Kit. Amazing how much you have stuffed in there!
Will be waiting to see what your FFC block is going to be!
