melt 1 stick of butter in a 9x13 pan at 350. While melting, mix in a bowl , 1cup of sugar, 1 cup of flour, 1tsp baking powder, 1 cup of milk. Once butter has melted, pour over the melted butter your batter mix. Do not stir. Just pour. Then add whatever canned fruit you would like. We prefer here canned cherries. You just plop by the spoonful all over the top of your pan mixture. Bake at about 25-30min until edges are browning. Very good-quick and easy! Enjoy-Skeat

Sounds good. What kind of cherries? Canned cherry pie filling,
canned sour cherries for pie filling, etc.
This reminds me of the quick cobbler I used to make when I lived in Georgia. My friend had me use self-raising flour and blackberries.
Thanks for your help. I think I could adjust this to use with Splenda as my DH is diabetic. I think blueberries would also work nicely. The seeds
are much smaller than the blackberry seeds :D
Piecefully yours,
