Hubby loves this:
6 italian sausages
1/2 of a large onion sliced
1 green pepper sliced
1 jar of spaghetti sauce
Layer in crock pot and cook for 6 hours on medium
Makes a great sandwich and the sauce is great on pasta.

Add a double layer of uncooked lasagna noodles (break to fit) and top with cheeses.
Repeat with sauce, noodles and cheeses until all are used up.
Cover and cook on low for 4 to 5 hours.

Another one--
Crockpot Cube/Salisbury Steak w/Gravy
6 to 8 cube steaks
Flour
Salt & pepper
Garlic powder
Spicy Montreal Steak Seasoning
Olive oil
2 envelopes brown gravy
1 envelope mushroom/onion gravy
3 c. water
2 t. Worcestershire sauce
Sliced sweet onion
Sprinkle the cube steaks with salt, pepper, garlic powder & Montreal seasoning, dredge in flour & brown on both sides with olive oil in med. high skillet.
Mix gravy packets with water and layer the ingredients in crockpot. Cook on low for about 5 hours. Great with mashed OR smashed potatoes!

I have one more I make all the time:
Chicken Fajitas
1 1/2 # Uncooked Chicken breasts sliced
1 small onion, sliced

1 packet fajita seasoning
1 1/2 cups chicken stock
Layer in that order. Cook 4-5 hours
Serve on a tortilla with sour cream. Yummy.

These receipes sound yummy! There is so much I need to do this fall getting ready for the time I will need to stay indoors that I am looking forward to trying your receipes so I can have something good to eat when I come in at night.

This one is soooooooooo easy, two ingredients. Country pork ribs and barbeque sauce. Dump it into the crockpot and let it go until ribs are tender. If you love barbeque ribs and do not want to or don't have time, try this one.

Beef Stroganoff:
One Beef Roast (boneless is easiest)
2 cans Cream of Mushroom Soup
Garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
16 oz container of sour cream
Cooked noodles or rice.
Put one can soup on bottom of crock, season roast to taste on both sides. Put in crock, sprinkle with Worcestershire sauce, top with other can of soup. Cook for 4-5 hours on low.
Remove roast and slice or cut into bite sized pieces. Add sour cream to the soups in the crock. Stir well. Add the roast beef back in. Cook for another 1/2 hour on low or until it comes back up to temp. Serve over rice or noodles.

Fall Apart Chicken
This is the easiest thing you ever made and it sure is good.
1 Whole chicken (I usually buy an Oven Stuffer Roaster but if you want smaller then get a fryer)
Salt & Pepper
Yeah, that's it, although I grow Rosemary in the yard and love the taste so I mince up a bunch and throw that on too)
Wash the chicken and pat dry with paper towels. sprinkle inside and out with a pretty generous amount of salt and pepper (and rosemary if you want it) Put that bird in your slow cooker RAW and with NO WATER AT ALL. Put on the lid, turn the cooker to low and in about 6-7 hours you will have some mighty fine chicken.
I always thicken the amazing amount of juices that come out of the chicken for gravy, but it can also be used for stock.
Also makes GREAT cold chicken sandwiches the next day.
Oh, and by the way, I call it "Fall Apart Chicken" because it does exactly that, so be careful taking it out of the cooker.

I can plug it in and when I walk in the door from work the house smells like my make believe cook has been at it all day. I think just about every lady in my office has tried it and it's now a standard at their house's too.
