    casserole carrier

    cut a rectangule in a half to create 2 pieces 12- 1/2" x 17- 1/2" .Cut assorted 2- 1/2" x 5 - 1/2" - 12 - 1/2" strips

    Stitch pieced strips together to make 2 rectangle piecess.On right side, sew a soft VELCRO to one end of each rectangle
    [ATTACH=CONFIG]205242[/ATTACH]

    cut 2 pieces of contrasting fabric 12- 1/2" x 17 - 1/2" Draw parallel lines at 2", using a chalk, mark diagonal lines at 2". To quilt, pin tow layers of batting to the wrong side of your fabric. With right sides together, pin linig to each rectangle, having VELCRO fig (17) Stitch, leaving an opening and turm right side out, press and sew opening.

    Cut 2 strips 3" x 18"stitch together at one end, fold strap in half, having right sides together. Stitch in a 1/4" seam, leaving an opening in center. Turn strap right side out through center opening. Fold strap along foldlines and press. Sew center poening. Pin strap to one rectangle, centering and placing pressed ends and seam at center. Sew ends. Stitch close to long edges of straps, across strap at stitching lines. Place the rectangle without straps, lining side dow on a flat surface. Pin the rectangle with strap perpendicular to botton rectangle. Stitching lines as shown fig (25 ) forming pocket in center.
