Quick Machine Binding with Flange
#52
That is such a good idea! I hand sew my binding to the front also and once tried machine stitching but didn't like it at all. This looks much nicer so i will try it. thanks for the tute!!

I will be looking for ways to put cord into that peeper in order to give it more definition as well. Many thanks.

Wonderful idea - can't wait to try it. Will have to get busy, as I don't have anything anywhere near ready for quilting or binding!

Thanks soo much for posting this tut!! I had never seen a binding done this way before. I was just finishing a tablerunner and couldn't decide on the binding color so I used this method. I love the effect!! I have to admit my miters didn't come out as neatly as yours or as neatly as mine usually do when I sew a binding to the front first and fold to the back. But I will definitely use this method again and hopefully improve on my corners! Thanks again!!

Like others have expressed, I love this board because people are so willing to share ideas and to help others. Thanks for this tut.
