For anyone who wants to know how to make a small perfect circle by means of templates I wrote Tutorial with several photos.
I've got 19 steps to post, so be patient while I get them all posted here in this thread.

We take a template (Karen Kay Buckley, "Perfect Circles")
or if not, take a an acetate, or a piece of cardboard,
or a washed radiography and we mark the final size of the circle that we need.
Cut it with the greatest possible care.
If we see that the cut marks are at tips, with a nail file we can go smoothing gently until you get a smooth and polished finish. This will give a better finish to our work.
Once we have our template, put on the reverse of the fabric to use
and how to transfer it.
