Antique? Singer? Imatation?
Ever so recently I stumbled upon what seemed to be a treasure. it would appear that I found a singer sewing machine but after some research I have not a clue. The serial number I acquired does not seem to match any information found here. http://www.singerco.com/uploads/asse...GER_AJ_nos.pdf the machine in question is visually identical to this magnificent contraption with the addition of some age and is missing an unknown amount of bits, pieces and parts. http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=...electedIndex=1 The model is Simanco USA 21 and The serial number is aj 249022. Any and all information would be much appreciated. Thank you for your time QuiltingBoard

Singer model 66 made in 1949.

actually ... the serial number listed on the Singer link that you have in your post also indicates it's a 66 made in 1949 ... not sure where you got model 21 from.
