help with dropped stitches - - -
I have a FW 221 and, for 6 months she ran beautifully. All of a sudden, she started dropping bobbin stitches. I re-threaded the top & bottom, changed needles and - - - still the same.
Please advise. I miss sewing on her!

Change the needle. A dull needle can cause this and if you have a habit of pulling the material through the feed or holding the fabric back from going through the feed, you may loose a stitch too.
let us know what worked.

Edit, sorry you did change the needle, then check it is set properly.

I have this problem with my 221 when I'm sewing through thick parts of pieced quilted fabric. Basically when I start sewing the rows together and I get those bumps of 4 layers and up it can skip a bit. My guess if I got a sharp needle it would help solve the problem.
