Ismacs no letter
I’m not trying to buy another machine but one has came into my view. It doesn’t have a letter before the numbers ismacs data base drops off in the early years . Help me....I’m Kinda certain I’m buying this but would like to understand what year it is.

For some unknown reason, I am assuming that you are looking at a Singer. And if the answer is yes, then did you see this page? http://ismacs.net/singer_sewing_mach...l-numbers.html

If it's a rectangular base VS2 they can look much like a 27 (the model were given the number 27 later on). If it turned out to have one of the early decal sets with flowers and roses, I would not hesitate to buy it :- ) They came with fiddle base too.
I thought Improved Family was the precursor to model 15, and a round bobbin model.
