My second Minnesota Treadle - a nightmare!
Ok, I just went out and looked at the Model A treadle again, oh dear god, and I paid money for this ... oy vey
ok, so the pretty scrolls are half off and missing, ok... I will remove them and do something to it ... the handles are not all there...ok I will remove them and do something different, the top is ok... then I open it again and see that the top was taken off and turned around and they of course had to drill holes to sink the latches or screws, what ever you want to call them... what where they thinking? stupid because the lid locks down and with it backwards you can not lock it... U got it... either I am going to get real creative with it or I am going to just lose it and take a slug hammer and matches to it.. the machine needs a good cleaning and the wheel that was once shined is all rusted.. well it will be a project for sure...

It's amazing what some people do. I saw one that the seller said it worked really good. But when they painted it, they put the base back on backwards, so the treadle wheel was under the needle end of the machine.
I do cry when I see hacked cabinets . . . I'm starting to really not like the word "upscaled".
