New latches on the "tool box"
My granddaughter and her boyfriend are visiting from out of state and helping me move. I came home yesterday and they were just too excited to tell me they put the new latches on my old "tool box". I don't have an old tool box.
They marched me right out to the garage and there it was . . . my featherweight carry case with this big a## two by four nailed to the inside to hold the new latches they misplaced on the outside. Now my case doesn't fit the FW because of the two by four and I have empty spaces where they took off the old latches and misaligned the new ones.
I just walked away and politely asked them not to "fix" anything else unless they talk to me first. I'm just glad they don't know about my 201 that needs grease in the motor.

As a person who has hosted a open to the public weekly training session in his shop for 15 years, I am still sometimes amazed at the ability of people to overestimate their own intelligence and skill......
