New Machine
This one is my new favorite. I showed this one to my wife close to two weeks ago and her response was "No way, we don't have the money." Ok, I was reluctant ( I pouted like a 3 yr old) but she was right so I let it drop. She called when I wasn't around and made arrangements with the seller who kindly held it for us until I could pick it up Monday. The seller actually talked another buyer out of the machine so I could have it. I found out about it over the weekend when I learned that I had an extra stop on my way to a Dr appointment in Seattle on Monday. Many thanks to my wife Carol for the nice surprise.
Here it is.

Nothing too incredible, just another 15 clone. But how many are out there with your name on them?
I'm a big enough dork that I'm really enjoying that part of it. Besides it's all the proof I need that any clown could get their name on these machines if they bought enough of them.
It needs the wiring fixed on the foot controller and a few other minor issues dealt with but it turns freely and the finish is good other than some light pin rash. I'm also seriously considering removing the dealer tag. If it looked a little nicer I'd be more inclined to keep it. I don't know if they only put those on machines they sell but I'd be PO'ed if I brought a machine in for repair and it came back with a tag stuck to it.
I think it'll be a good stitcher and I think I've found my avatar.

She doesn't sew. It would have to be a pretty cool machine to get her to use it. I am lucky to have her for a wife.
She's supportive of my hobbies even with my compulsive behavior that sometimes drives her nuts.
