Not a sewing machine but potentially useful
I just posted this on the "Main" but noticed this wonderful little corner of the site and thought it might be equally appropriate here.
I am looking for uses for my WWII Vintage Clicker
Rather than dual-posting:

that is definitely cool. One possibility I see is for sports teams... obviously you can't do logo copyrighted items, but an orange T or a red A/G/SC would be ok. Only other applications I see are for factory work...
and if you love to tinker with vintage machines, then you need to hang out over here more often!

Could you use the machine to cut thru a lightweight plastic that could make templates for quilters to use in applique? For instance shamrocks for St Patricks day but in 4 or 5 sizes, x-mas trees in different sizes, maybe bells, mittens, x-mas stockings etc. Halloween templates, ghosts, bats, witches, pumpkins but in different sizes in one package. Hearts for valentines day. I am sure you get my meaning. I usually make my own templates for applique, but something die cut in different sizes that I could by would be great. I prefer a lightweight plastic myself because I usually put a pin in it so I can cut out the fabric. Good luck.

oh yeah. No problem. One "old guy" (I'm turning 51 tomorrow) told me that a way to think about it is if you could cut it with a good solid utility knife, then the clicker can do it.
I'm going to make a quick video of the beastie in operation this weekend...
