I have this exact machine. It is very good for FMQ or just regular sewing. I hate that shipping is so much for the machines. I hope somebody can rescue it. I got it myself, because my first car, a 1973 Cutlass Supreme, was that exact same color, with the little red accents, and chrome. LOL Even my husband understood it when I put it in car talk.

If it doesn't work out, there are several nice machines at that particular Goodwill. That Regina is a cutie, too.

Ladies and gents; How on eath can I have about 10 or so boxes of vintage attachments and not one zipper foot in the whole darned lot? Yep, needed one and wound up purchasing mine at a local stoe that carries some bits and pieces for both vintage and modern machines. I paid $4 for a metal one but am puzzled as to how almopst every box has the requisite ruffler and hemmer and most had binding attachments but ZERO zipper feet. Are they like mismatched sox in the dryer?
Chris
FYI: Finished 2nd Kindle cover/bag for DD and this one turned out better than the first one. Plus, her Kindle fits better too.

Is that it? Ok, how do I stop feeding them? I need at least one more zipper foot. Dh and DD thought I'd lost my mind when I began destroying what oder had been wrought from the chaos of my craft room when I looking for the the darned thing. Now, mind you, I have 3 for my one 301.

Agreed, they do poop dust everywhere. Today is Monday because I just found the zipper foot to the machine I was using. I did look in its designated spot but it was playing hide and seek very efficiently. Now, I have 2 but they are together so that means they'll breed some new foot for this machine. This machine actually comes with 2 zipper feet - one for the right and one for the left alignment but only the left aligned one works without the needle hitting the foot. It's okay, I love the quirks of the vintage ladies.
Chris, with all of the attachments I have, I did not have ONE zipper foot in the house until about 6 months ago!! Then all of the sudden I have 10 or 12 of them! They DO breed!!!!
