Four vintage machines
Singer 401A, my folks bought her (used) for me as a graduation present in 1980. I've been sewing with her ever since! She is still my favorite. A friend recently gave me an old cabinet that fits perfectly.

My second machine is a Bernina Record 830 from the 70's. My husband bought her on eBay for me for Valentine's Day three years ago. I use her exclusively for FMQ.

I snagged this Singer 1951 Centennial Featherweight on eBay for only $275+free shipping just a few months ago! It came with an original case in great condition, 2 keys, 2 sets of attachments, manual, etc. I feel pretty good about this purchase! I named her Violet and use her when I go to retreats.

And, my 4th machine was given to me by another friend, who had begun restoring it. I really need to get it finished. The decals are in rough condition. It looks like someone was a little to vigorous in cleaning. But, it still has its coffin top, a shuttle, 2 bobbins and a foot. Besides, it was FREE!

Here is my 1912 Pfaff treadle number 'H' from Berlin. It says G M Pfaff, Kaiserslautern on the seal. The slide plate says Gustav Huttig, Berlin. The crown in the middle of the bed decal says GMP, which Monica says stands for Georg Michael Pfaff the founder of Pfaff in 1862 in Kaiserslautern.Nancy
